HVAC Field Service Manager – Ashburn, VA
We are looking for an HVAC Service Manager to manage a team of field service HVAC technicians. The manager will be responsible for scheduling work to the service team. Responsibilities:
Manage service team performing installation and maintenance of critical data center equipment
Administer inventory control system and prepare equipment orders going out and track returning orders.
Prepare service reports and other custom checklists during repair, maintenance, recondition and troubleshooting of cooling systems equipment
Operate and perform both routine and emergency service on a variety of state of the art critical systems, including but not limited to; Chillers, Air Handlers, Boilers, CRAC / CRAH units, and building monitoring systems.Ensures that operational, maintenance and emergency methods of procedure (MOP’s and SOP’s) are developed and strictly adhered to.
Assist with CMMS database management.
5 -10 years + of relevant experience (experience with Cooling / Mechanical / HVAC equipment including Chillers, Pumps, Air Handlers, Cooling Towers, CRAC / CRAH Units)
Managing Projects for HVAC installation of Equipment for Data Centers a MUST
Controls Experience a huge plus BMS / BCM Systems ( Building monitoring systems / building control systems - SCADA, Cimplicity, ALC , Metasys )
Must have the technical knowledge and practical experience of operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of Mission Critical Mechanical Support Systems.
Must have previous supervisory experience and the ability to manage a team of technicians
Requires excellent verbal, written communication skills & customer relation skills
Must be able to provide high level of quality customer service
Requires knowledge of equipment manufacturer’s specifications
Previous experience in the Military / Military veterans in all branches that have experience with Electrical / Mechanical is a huge plus (Navy nukes- EMN, ETN, MMNs, SeaBees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, etc)
